well, after the teacher's blowout Friday, I decided he was right and I needed to get more intune with structure. I searched up a TON of animal skeletons to get this as "correct" as possible. I like the way it looks, so I'm posting it. Tis the skeleton of the Oodu ^^

i love the bones. very cool. the pelvis always gets me, personally, and that's the thing I like best about the pic. A couple things to note, however. No animal's neck is completely straight. there should be a slight curve to it, or it should be moveable. In the pic, it looks a little stiff. Another note, most mammals, if not all of them, have 12 ribs for the 12 thoracic (upper/middle back) vertebrae. And then there are 5 lumbar (lower back) vertebrae and 7 cervical (neck).

indeed. This was just a real quickie for me to understand this guy's anatomy from a previous blowout my professor had on an art piece, sketchy andunfinished, but enough for me to get the jist. if I ever draw a skeleton again, I'll keep that in mind

Jeepers creepers, that's neato! :ohnoes:

The bones are very well done, you should so tackle some other angles now and see how they work with perspective.

I really like those hip bones, though. Something about the shading makes me drool? :XD:

Angles?? ...ya I guess....although bones are not my strong suite.....heck, if you look carefully on this one, I don't even have all the bone structure down, let alone detailed...its all just a scribbly refrence if anything

AND IF YOU LIKE THIS YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THE OTHER OODU THINGS I HAVE IN MY GALLERY (cough Story of the Oodu cough)
